Will A Roomba Vacuum Pick Up My Long Hair?

November 18th, 2009 admin Leave a comment Go to comments

Ok, so I know irobot roombas are great for pet hair and dirt clean up, but what about when it ventures into my bathroom and finds all my long hair (it goes to my lower back). Fromn previous experience with standard bag/bagless vacuums, they would always get stuck and jammed with my long hair wrapped around the roatating brush. Will a roomba have this problem as well? Roomba owners, please answer! Thank you!

Pet hair and my shoulder length hair also get wrapped around the brush in my Roomba, but because of the pet hair, I clean my Rooma after each use (rather than every 3rd as recommended). It takes two minutes to empy the dirt pan, blow off the air filter, and clean off the brush. Totally worth it in my house and my dogs, cats and two year old son all get a big kick out of watching the “I-Bot” as my son calls it, run around and clean up. Hope that helps!
    I love my ROOMBA!

it should pick it up; since its for pet hair, pet hair varies in length.
