I got one for Christmas and I LOVE it! I haven’t vacuumed since and my floors are cleaner than they have ever been (I have 3 cats). It works on hardwood, tile, and deep pile carpet. The first few days it picked up a lot of dirt my regular vacuum and swiffer had been missing, but now I just let it go everyday when I’m at work and it picks up a lot less dirt. I can see a big improvement and I don’t have to wash my floors like I use to.
I would get it at a bricks and mortar (got mine from Sears) store and get the extended warranty to go with it in case anything breaks.

A friend of mine has one and just loves it. She says it does a great job.

i had one and the thing broke on me it was giving to me as a gift the person did not want it it wouldnt go through his shag rug anyway a piece broke off and i did not know who to call to replace the thing and it comes with filter pads and they only give you one i am sure with your knew one you will get a booklet so you can buy the replacement parts i would not buy one the bump into the furniture then they don’t know were to go you have to move it with your foot so you have to watch it all the time spend your money on a dyson or something if your going to spend that much.

I do not own one but it seems to me that they would not hold very much debris and I would also be concerned about them picking up some that I would not want them too. What if they ran over a phone or stereo wire. I just think for the cost that you could get a much more powerful vacuum like the oreck. My step mom has an oreck an I really want one the suction power is very good. Good luck on your decision:)
